You're amazing. I can't believe how quickly you've gotten another dossier together again. And you must have the quickest USCIS office in the USA if you think everything can really go to China before Christmas! In Michigan, the minimum wait for 1600A (which is now changed to the I800 or something like it) was 90 days -- they wouldn't expedite ANYTHING and wouldn't even acknowledge we sent anything until 90 days had passed. That's one of the main reasons we just can't adopt again -- it's just too hard to force the child to wait on the other side of the world while the gears of bureaucracy grind slowly on this side of the ocean.
Can't wait to hear your story, knowing you, that stuff will be in the mail by the end of next week!
She is so, so cute! I'm enjoying catching up on your journeys. Thanks for visiting our blog! Wishing you swift and smooth travels on this next journey!
We are in the process of Paperchasing for our 2nd SN adoption in 2 years. We are thrilled to be growing our family again, but we have been hesitant to do so because of the overwhelming financial burden of adopting back to back. In seeing some of the outrageously talented Mommies out there that sew cute dresses or make hair bows to help bring their babies home I was inspired, but at the same time at a loss because of my lack of craftiness. So I may not be crafty but I can work a deal,, and Shutterly has really come through. I have used Shutterfly forever, and have created the most amazing photobooks and gifts. I even made a small storybook for Mina about our trip to China to meet her. I will have a link so you can check that out in a day or two.. Here's how it works!
HELP BRING OUR DAUGHTER HOME FOR 15 CENTS! Sounds crazy? If you click on the link below, open a new account with Shutterfly, and even just order 1- 4X6 print (for 15 cents). Shutterfly will in turn pay me a small fee for finding new accounts for them, and you will also receive 15 free prints, just for opening an account. If you already have an account, you can also help by clicking on this link before you order any shutterfly product. I know it sounds like a pain, but if you would take the 5 minutes to open an account with Shutterfly ,please know that we will be so extremely appreciative of each and everyone of you that help us with this.
